Rock-pools, a pop up tunnel book

Description

This is an handmade pop up tunnel book. I have handprinted and assembled all the mechanisms. The inspiration for this work came from time spent looking into the wonderfull rock-pools that are along the rocky coast at Apollo Bay in Victoria. Filled with an abundance of life they are colourful and wondrous. This book is a tribute and memorial to the time spent visiting family who have moved away and we no longer get to visit these rock pools.  The tunnel book format seems the best way to portray the depth of a rock pool. There was an edition of ten only made.

These books are a work of art in the same way as a print.
